HiLabs Achieves HIPAA Compliance
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully achieved HIPAA compliance. Both our MCheck™ platform and office location are now HIPAA compliant. We meet the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) for the security and availability of protected health information (PHI). We sought HIPAA compliance as part of our commitment to uphold the highest standards for privacy and security for our clients and their customers. HiLabs sees information security as a core responsibility in addition to developing our platform and delivering outcomes to all healthcare stakeholders.
Ensuring the security and availability of Protected Health Information (PHI) as required by HIPAA, the measures and processes put in place cover: access control, audit reviews, integrity controls, encryption, data transmission, and endpoint security.
HiLabs has also recently achieved SOC 2 Type I certification as well. The completion of these audits demonstrates our commitment to prioritize data security and privacy, creating high levels of trust with our customers. We assure our customers by seeking and adhering to the highest security standards, which protect healthcare data from risks and threats.
This is an important milestone towards our goal to help healthcare organizations significantly improve data accuracy, which drives better care and patient experience.
